In early September, France charged three men from a WhatsApp group called “Soldiers of Allah”, suspected of preparing to join the Islamic State in Africa and/or to attack the Jewish community. One was in touch with an American convert who allegedly planned to bomb New York’s State Capitol, until the FBI handed her an inert bomb. Meanwhile, young Islamic State fans are turning its propaganda into cartoons.
