Narrated Muhammad ibn Muslim

I asked Abu Ja'far [Imam Muhammad al-Baqir] about the apostate. He said: "Whoever turns away from Islam and disbelieves in what was revealed to Muhammad (ﷺ) after having embraced Islam, there is no repentance for him, and his killing is obligatory. His wife is separated from him, and what he leaves is divided among his children."
